Pension Service

DescriptionTHE PENSION SERVICE is part of the Department for work and Pensions. It is a new Government Agency that has been set up to provide a dedicated and customer focused service to today's and future pensioners.

Our local service is working in the community and meeting customers in places where they prefer to visit. We are holding surgeries based in convenient locations throughout the Wigan Borough.

WE CAN HELP YOU WITH
Pension Credit Queries,Payment of Benefit into banks, Pension forecasting, Completion of Pension Credit forms, Completing Retirement Pension claim forms, Verifying dates of birth, Marriage and death (You won't need to send off the certificates, Verifying the amount of savings you have (You won't need to send off your bank books or statements), Housing Benefit and Council Tax advice, Winter Fuel advice.
